Episode 110: Using AI Without Losing Your Voice or Vision

marketing

Sometimes, you see something on the Internet, and something just seems….off.

The eyes in the picture are wonky. The words in the copy are technically correct, but the flow is just a tad wrong. It’s the uncanny valley in real time.

Then, you realize—this is AI. And everything clicks.

Creators everywhere are talking about AI. Whether you love it or hate it, there’s no denying that it’s here, and it’s out there.

Which brings us to the question:can AI build a strategy for you?

My answer might surprise you. Because….yes. Technically.

AI will spit something out, and many times, people see this something as better than nothing. AI may even generate something halfway-useful.

But like that wonky art, and the ill-fitting copy, the end product is often flawed, and not always in an obvious way.

And here’s the reason why I think AI will not overtake creative spaces—including brand-building spaces—anytime soon.

Every brand is unique as a human being. And connecting with a human being is way different than connecting with a machine, no matter how smart it is.

In this week’s episode, we’re talking about:

  •   Why humanization matters in your brand, above all else
  •   AI’s limitations—and its uses
  •   How to not get lost in the noise (and the AI glamour)

You know your customer way more AI does, I promise you. Your brand still has space. Your voice still has space.

So let’s go out and use it!
